Male Eclectus Parrot

A brilliant, Australian parrot arranges his plumage.

Australian parrots are known for their vibrant and varied colors.
The Eclectus is one of a very few parrots that are sexually
dimorphic, which means that the male and female are very
differently colored. The female Eclectus parrot is maroon and
cherry red with purple feather accents and a bit of orange and
yellow on the very tip of the tail. The female also has an all-black
beak. Google these delightful parrots to see a pair together in all
their grandeur!
