29 Faces, Day 3

Its been a really busy week, so I am painting at night for a change. Here's my attempt at a portrait of a famous singer. I don't feel that I have captured her eyes correctly. Does anyone have a guess as to who she is?
















Crystal Bowersox (American Idol, runner-up)

I think she looks like Jewel in this lovely photo, too. It is Crystal Bowersox, but I did not get her eyes right. They are beautiful eyes, but not exactly hers. Oh well, practice makes perfect ;) I am loving this challenge because it is giving me much to learn! Kathryn

    whoevershe is, she's beautiful. (I don't really follow music so I wouldn't be the best person to say whether it's a lookalike)

    At first glance, she looks like Taylor Swift, but there's a stud under her lip, then as Patience said, Jewel, but that stud again...I'm not up to date with the music scene... It's a beautiful drawing the feather like hair and the eyes are exceptional.

    I can't place her either--I think we are all thrown off by the piercing! Love the drawing though.

    Sorry Kathryn! Gosh, I've never even heard of this Crystal Bowersox (how out of it am I?) so that's why I was so off in my guess -- your portrait is a wonderful likeness...!
